  14. Jurassic Land is a series of screen savers.  In park I, You will
  15. see that brachiosaurs are having their dinners in a jurassic
  16. evening... Sound effects provided.

  19.  The SETUP.EXE will copy five files into your windows directory:
  20.  
  21.  jl_ft.src  -- The main executable file of Jurassic Land;
  22.  jl_ft.txt and readme.txt  -- Documentation file;

  25.  jl_ft_0.wav - Wave files for sound effects;
  26.  jl_ft_1.wav 
  27.  jl_ft_2.wav

  32.     - Super VGA

  34.     - VBRUN300.DLL;

  49. Savervisor is a Screen Saver and Wall Paper Manager packed with Amazing. 
  50. It provides following functions:
  51.  
  52.   - It appears as an icon that allows you launch a screen saver
  53.     instantly by a single click of RIGHT mouse button. Note: You
  54.     have to select a saver in Savervisor's setup screen in order
  55.     to have Savervisor launch when clicking at its icon with RIGHT
  56.     mouse button.
  57.  
  58.   - It allows you specify the sensitive areas where you can click
  59.     the RIGHT mouse button to launch a saver instantly.
  60.  
  61.   - It provide saver scheduling capability.  That is, it allows
  62.     you specify what saver to be activate at a specified hour
  63.     through a week.  It also allows you switch savers through
  64.     all the savers in your Windows directory and specify switchng
  65.     period.

  67.   - It can be run in a INVISIBLE mode. With this great feature,
  68.     you can just put it into Windows Startup group in Program 
  69.     Manager and forget it: It will take care all the management 
  70.     tasks while you never realize it is working for you!

  72.   - It can be set to "Always on top" to increase your
  73.     accessibility to its features.

  75.   - It can display(illustrate) all the screen savers in your
  76.     Windows directory in different styles(ONCE, CIRCLE, and RANDOM).

  78.   - It works as the saver section of Windows Desktop
  79.     allowing you select, setup, and test a screen saver from
  80.     within its setup screen.

  82.   - It provides a very strong wall paper management capability.

  84.     First, it allows you to specify any BMP files as your
  85.     Wallpaper from anywhere of your file system(including hard,
  86.     network, and CD drives) in a particular hour through a week.

  88.     Secondly, it allows you schedule BMP files as your 
  89.     Wallpaper by specifying switching period through your
  90.     file system.

  93.     Finally, it can "walk" you through the entire file system
  94.     (including hard, network, and CD drives).  That is, it
  95.     displays all the BMP files in your file system one after 
  96.     another as wall paper - You can see exactly how the BMP file 
  97.     looks as a Wallpaper on your screen instead of a single BMP 
  98.     image(specially, when Tile function is set). You can choose 
  99.     from either automatic or clicking to switch images when BMP is 
  100.     illustrated.

  102.   - It also provides some other function such as tile setting.

  106. How to use Savervisor:
  107.  
  108.   - There are at least three ways to use it:
  109.       1). Always running and INVISIBLE.  You can set its running
  110.           mode into INVISIBLE and put it into Startup group of 
  111.           Windows Program Manager so that Savervisor is launched 
  112.           automatically when you start your Windows.  In this way, 
  113.           Savervisor will work in background - You will never see 
  114.           it while it is working for you: carrying out all the tasks 
  115.           according to you Saver schedule and Wallpaper
  116.           schedule, launching savers instantly when you click the
  117.           RIGHT mouse button at the area you specify.

  120.       2). Always running but visible. In this way, you can access
  121.           setup screen of Savervisor by a double click at its 
  122.           running icon#. For easy access, you can set it ALWAYS ON TOP.
  123.       3). Use it to setup you wall paper or select a screen saver
  124.           and turn it off after setup.
  125.  
  126.   - After Launching Savervisor from Program Manager, You will see
  127.     an animation icon at the top left corner of your screen if
  128.     it is set to visible mode. Note: But you will see nothing
  129.     if it is set to INVISIBLE mode.  In this case, You can
  130.     launch Savervisor one more time if you like to bring up
  131.     its setup screen in order to turn it into visible mode or
  132.     change setting of Savervisor. After you launch it second
  133.     time, the running icon will appear so that you can double
  134.     click at it to bring up the setup screen.

  136.    - To access Savervisor's setup screen, you need to double
  137.      click at the running icon.
  138.    
  139.    - You must bring up the setup screen of Savervisor in order
  140.      to turn it off.
  141.    
  142.    - Clicking the RIGHT mouse button on the Savervisor icon or
  143.      any sensitive areas that you specify will enable the 
  144.      current screen saver in Windows Desktop and selecting any 
  145.      screen saver in the setup screen of Savervisor has the some 
  146.      effect of selecting a saver in Windows Desktop.

  148. The setup.exe will allow you to specify the target directory
  149. where the Savervisor will reside and create a group for Savervisor in
  150. Program Manager.  It will copy following files into the target directory:
  151.  
  152.   saverv.exe - Savervisor;
  153.   readme.txt - this file;
  154.   saverv.txt - the same as this file but used by setup screen of 
  155.                Savervisor;
  156.   regist.wav - WAV used to setup screen;
  157.   utility1.dll - an utility required by Savervisor.

  160.  Why use Savervisor with Amazing?
  161.    There are at least two reasons to use Savervisor with Amazing:
  162.       1). Savervisor enable you to launch Amazing instantly by a
  163.           single RIGHT mouse button click.
  164.       2). Savervisor provides schedule system which allows you
  165.           arrange your favorite savers and wallpaper in your style.
  166.       3). Its INVISIBLE feature allows you to "forget " it while
  167.           it is working for you.

  172. TroubleShooting:
  173.     -  Q: I have a multimedia system, with .WAV capability, and
  174.           in fact, 
  175.           I hear .WAV files with most every application.  
  176.           Why can I NOT hear sounds with your screen saver?  
  177.           (The Sounds option is grayed out, and I cannot check
  178.            it.)
  179.        A: The Saver disables Sound option if it does not detect a
  180.           sound device that it knows. You can enforce it accepts
  181.           you sound system by following steps:
  182.               1). disable (turn off) the saver;
  183.               2). open (double click at icon of) file            
  184.  
  185.                   c:\windows\jl_ft.ini
  186.                   (assuming c:\windows is your Windows directory)
  187.                    in your windows File Manager;
  188.               3). change 
  189.                       EnforceSoundOn= 0
  190.                   into
  191.                       EnforceSoundOn= 1
  192.               4). save and close the file;       
  193.               5.) bring up the setup screen of the saver;
  194.               6). check (enable) field "Sound On";
  195.               7). click at OK to exit the setup screen of the
  196.                   saver;
  197.       
  198.     Q:  I have downloaded your screen saver recently 
  199.         and I was having a problem with getting it to work properly.  
  200.         After initialising I get a message "... caused a general 
  201.         protection fault in module VGA.DRV at 0001:0ca2". 
  202.   
  203.     A:  Changed your screen drivber in winsetup to SVGA.

  206. How to register Amazing:
  207. ================
  208.  You can register Jurassic Land in Compuserve using SWREG
  209.  #4766: Just GO SWREG and use 4766 to register.  After you register
  210.  in Compuserv, I will EMail you the Registration Code.  You can
  211.  then key it into the Registration Code field of the Registration
  212.  screen in setups of Amazing and Savervisor.

  241.           the Registration Code for Amazing to register
  242.           both Amazing and Savervisor. you will then receive 
  243.           limited functions provided by Savervisor.(The functions
  244.           above marked with * are not available if you register
  245.           Savervisor with the Registration Code for Amazing.)
  246.       2). To enable its functions completely you need to register
  247.           Savervisor using SWREG #4880 in Compuserve.
